Letter from Timothy and Bernadette

Welcome to the TBM Foundation.

People often ask why we have chosen to establish a foundation rather than simply directly fund a select group of pet projects. We've been blessed with good fortune, and a foundation gives us a vehicle for creating positive change in many ways, in many places and for many people.

Through systemic funding in a few key areas, we hope our efforts will extend beyond today's beneficiaries and that they will positively impact future generations of people, programs and communities.

There are many foundations that are seeking to make a difference. So what makes us different? It's our commitment to finding and funding big ideas. We look for organizations that clearly demonstrate innovation, open mindedness and new ways of improving our quality of life. It's through them that we shine.
